Academic labs are some of the largest users of analytical instrumentation. University labs use instrumentation for teaching purposes, research, and often to generate income via contract work. Academic labs require instruments that are durable, easy to use, but with excellent performance, and the productivity necessary to keep up in an extremely competitive environment.
